United States : re-viewing american multicultural literature

This study analyzes a changing literary order: America as unity and diversity, as a national and transnational entity. The literary critical writings gathered here offer a range of perspectives that trace much of cultural geography at stake: the narrative, autobiography, drama, etc.. It also presents a set of essays, reviews, among various directions of approach, pay attention to the foundation before Columbus, a poetry anthology American canon and what is omitted, the Latin narrative and major ancient playwrights. Includes interviews with creative and scholars as Gerald Vizenor, Frank Chin, Louis Owens, John Cawelti and Rex Burns. The review section gives a reception end-sequence multicultural scholarship relevant monographs and contributions to the emerging and large mural of analysis.
