<p>This book is a travelogue written by a medieval Chinese monk named Fa-Hien. He traveled through Central Asia and India from 399 to 414 A.D. The author's journey took him through the distant regions of Tibet and then through the areas of modern Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India, and Sri Lanka.
