SINOPSIS DEL LIBRO

<p>The story is set in Normandy during the Hundred Years' War. When king orders Lady Margaret de Villeroy to leave her castle for Paris as hostages, she obeys the order. The situation in Paris was troublous and soon the guild of the butchers, adopting white hoods as their uniform, seized the city, and besieged the house where our hero and his charges lived.
